HIES – a New Generation Consumer Code with a New Philosophy

Renewable installers now, for the first time, have a choice of two Consumer Codes to comply with MCS and DECC regulations. Don’t renew your existing Code Membership until you have spoken to HIES.

HIES has invested considerable resources into providing not just a ‘Code Of Practice’ for installers but a totally new value proposition to help installers win the battle for consumers and, importantly, stay ahead of the game and make profit.

Our message to installers is simple, ‘We Are Here To Help’ and with that in mind HIES members can benefit from:

  • Sourcing of New Products and Income Streams for Members – comprising of Thermodynamics, Solar PV Batteries, Infrared Heating Systems, Central Heating Management products and all the latest technologies on the market. We are currently introducing our members to manufacturers with unique offerings and support packages to help them improve their business models.
  • Consumer Finance: Introductions To Lenders – HIES has working relationships with all the major lenders in the renewables market some of whom will accept expressions of interests from HIES members.   • Approved Installer Documentation – (approved by Trading Standards) to include: Contracts, Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Rights, Vulnerable Customer Polices, Standard Guarantee Certificates etc. (available FREE of charge to members).
